This book, originally published on the occasion of an international carpet exhibition in Istanbul in 1997 at the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, brings together a stunning array of 163 rare carpets that were selected from the museum's legendary collection and are presented here for the first time in images of hitherto unachieved quality. The internationally-respected magazine Hali called it "The ultimate Turkish carpet book... [with] superb images of the best of Turkish carpet art".
